We thoroughly enjoyed the hot tub, and the lodge was lovely, very well equipped and lovely and warm (even though we had snow the whole week). I would definitely recommend the lodge to anyone either wanting a very quiet and relaxing break, or people who want it as a base to explore the area. York was only 20 minutes away.
Mrs T, HULL

15 November 2009

The park was lovely and peaceful, and very serene for a relaxing break, although we spent most of our time visting the many attractions in the surrounding area. There are plenty of places to see not too far from the lodge, so not too much time is spent in the car, and the hot tub was the star of the holiday after a days sightseeing. We just wish we had booked another week so we could relax and watch all the DVD's we brought, and the books we had hoped to read when we decided to have a relaxing holiday in the Yokshire countryside. We loved the area and were tempted to move there permanently - a great place!!!!!!
Mrs B, Aberdeen, Aberdeenshire

If you want a chill-out break this is fab, we used the hot-tub several times a day and in between watch DVDs there was everything you needed in the lodge. We really enjoyed the break, and will be looking at other locations to book again. Many Thanks.
Miss D, GRIMSBY, South Humberside

The park was lovely and the accommodation was spacious and contemporary. We were greeted warmly and it was made clear that nothing we needed would be too much trouble and to ask if we had any queries or concerns. The private hot tub was heaven and checked daily.
Mrs I, SWINDON, Wiltshire

The ideal retreat, luxurious and blissful and yet so much to do within a short distance away. The lodge was so perfect I wanted to stay there too!
Mr L, RAYLEIGH
04 July 2009

The staff were extrememly helpful and at all times, I felt that they always tried to ensure we had the most enjoyable and stressfree stay. Thyme 1 was ideally located within the park - right at the back of the park overlooking the field. The hot tub itself was in the back garden, perfectly placed and private. The staff cleaned the hot tub for us on a daily basis which enabled to use it daily. The lodge itself was very spacious, well cleaned and had all the essentials to make a fantastic break - there were 3 bedrooms, 1 ensuite and 1 main bathroom. The kitchen was well equipped and spacious and the dishwasher was a big bonus. The park is located in a quiet spot just on the edge of Easingwold. All in all, we had a wonderful time at Hollybrook and I would highly recommend this park for both families and couples.
Mrs B, DUNFERMLINE, Fife

Yes very enjoyable.
Mr C, Stoke-on-trent, Staffordshire

The lodge was immaculate, large open plan living/dining/kitchen made for a really spacious cosy space and the hot tub was amazing. The park itself is only 10 mins walk from a bus stop that took us into York (amazing city) within 30 mins and the village of Easingwold was perfect distance for a Sunday afternoon stroll!
Mr M, Livingston, West Lothian

The accommodation was first class and very clean and welcoming. The owner of the park gave us a very friendly welcome and explained everything to us and the hot tub was amazing and made our holiday. It is a very quiet and relaxing park - and I would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for a relaxing break, although there were plenty of places to visit nearby. It was the best self catering lodge we have stayed in!
Mrs T, Warrington, Cheshire

The accommodation was excellent, a beautiful lodge the hot tub was brilliant and the proximity to York ideal. There is lots to do, and the travel into York was very easy with the Park and Ride service just a 10 minute drive away. If you like peaceful, rural accommodation then this is definitely a great place to stay!

16 July 2007

This was a superb break, enjoyed by all the family. Thyme Lodge is decorated and furnished to a very high standard. The views over the fields were lovely, particularly as we visited in Spring when all the lambs were running around. The hot tub was wonderful and all 4 of our children (ages 4 - 15) made full use of it. Excellent and great value for money, I would recommend this holiday to anyone - 5 days wasn't enough.
Mrs P
05 April 2007

We have stayed in various log cabins over the past 8 years but this was certainly the best. The standard was excellent and the park managers/owners were most helpful. All round excellent value and the hot tub was an added bonus - just the way to ease aching muscles at the end of a long days walking! We all thoroughly enjoyed our stay and will certainly return and recommend you to our friends.
Mrs G
